Sonnedix secures EUR2 billion to unlock further growth across Europe Today we are proud to announce two refinancing transactions that strengthen our financial position and give us greater flexibility across our multi-technology portfolio of solar, storage, and wind. ? The first transaction valued at EUR595 million, was provided by CaixaBank, refinancing 154MW in our regulated Spanish portfolio through a series of non-recourse deals, including project bonds. ?The second, worth EUR1.37 billion, refinanced 1,040MW of solar PV assets across France, Italy, Poland, and Spain, consolidating five financings into one. This was supported by a diverse group of 10 lenders, including existing and new banking partners. These deals consolidate 12 separate project financings into two scalable platforms – supporting more strategic investments, hybridisation, and efficient capital allocation to accelerate the energy transition. ?? Supporting Local Heroes in Soko?owiec, Poland ?? Our Sonnedix team in Poland recently attended a special ceremony at the Volunteer Fire Department (OSP), marking the official addition of a new fire engine to their fleet - proudly co-financed by Sonnedix. The event brought together representatives from local authorities, neighbouring fire units and community members in a shared celebration of public service, collaboration, and a collective commitment to safety. ??? Health & Safety Month is underway at Sonnedix At Sonnedix, health and safety isn’t just a priority, it’s a core value that underscores everything we do. This week, we’re launching a global initiative to reinforce our commitment to health and safety. Throughout the month, we’ll be rolling out a range of impactful activities: ?? Around 80 team members will gain internationally recognised safety certifications, with training already in progress across countries. ?? We’re launching our Life-Saving Commitments and reinforcing the Power to Stop, empowering everyone at Sonnedix to take action when something doesn’t feel right. ?? A cross-functional group of 50 leaders will lead a baselining exercise and company-wide survey to better understand how safety is experienced across our business. ?? We’re hosting safety observation and design competitions, site safety walks, and local engagement events, designed to make safety a shared and visible part of our daily work. ?? Sessions on psychological safety will ensure every team member feels empowered to speak up. This month is about more than awareness, it’s about building trust, shaping behaviour, and fostering a culture where safety is part of who we are. Inaugurating our largest solar PV plant in Europe to date: Project Douro! ? Located in Tarouca, at the heart of Portugal’s Douro Valley, this 150MW solar plant marks a major milestone in Sonnedix’s Iberian growth. ? ?? Accelerating Portugal’s energy transition: Now complete, the Sonnedix Douro project will generate approximately 230 GWh of clean energy, capable of powering 76,000 Portuguese homes and avoiding 82,000 metric tons of CO2e annually. ? ?Powering the digital future: The plant supports a 10-year PPA with digital infrastructure leader Equinix, reinforcing Sonnedix’s role in powering the growing digital economy. ? ?? Platform for expansion: With access to the Valdigem substation, our team is already working on hybridising the plant, - combining solar, wind, and battery storage solutions - on a site that’s perfectly set up for it. ? ?? Accelerated growth in Portugal: In just two years, we’ve built over 400MW of controlled capacity, with another 200MW under construction, on track to double our operating capacity in the country by year-end. ? The inauguration ceremony took place in Vila Ch? da Beira, where local and regional authorities, key partners, and members of our executive team came together to celebrate this key achievement.
